ABOUT
Tara Carin Murphy is an artist from the Central Pennsylvania area. She has been creating art since she was a little girl.  She attended Hershey High School, where she was voted Best Artist of 2003. She attended the Capital Area School for the Arts in 2002-2003, where she designed the 9/11 Governor Ceremony 9’x12’ large mural displayed in the Capital, and she created the Nutcracker Ballet poster. She majored in Fine Art and Astrophysics at Pennsylvania State University prior to motherhood and career endeavors. She also attended other universities in pursuit of her passions.
Always creating out of the passion for expression, Tara continued to paint during her years of publishing a magazine, coordinating brand development, maintenance at her family airport, or her years as a flight attendant. Life is a journey, and Tara’s process of art is the healing and expressive nature of the stories we all live through.
